Kirby Smart to help induct Gwinnett Sports Hall of Fame class

This year’s Gwinnett County Sports Hall of Fame inductees includes athletes and coaches from Meadowcreek, Norcross, Collins Hill and Dacula high schools.

The Hall of Fame will induct its seventh class 7:15 p.m. May 6 at the Grand Ballroom of the Infinite Energy Center. A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. The keynote speaker will be University of Georgia football coach Kirby Smart.

Here’s a look at the 2016 inductees:

Jocelyn Penn; Meadowcreek, Basketball

Coach Mike Emery; District Athletic Director

Juan Daniels; Norcross, Football

Coach Cliff Ramos; Collins Hill, Wrestling

Brittany Rogers; Dacula, Softball
