Need to shred documents, get rid of mercury-filled fluorescent light bulbs or toss some grease and cooking fat?

Johns Creek has a place for you to go.

The city is sponsoring an event to get rid of sensitive papers, dangerous lights and fats that could clog pipes.

Bring documents, bulbs or grease to the Panera Bread Co. at 11715 Medlock Bridge Road from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 6.

There is no cost to get rid of any of the materials.

For more information, contact Keep Johns Creek Beautiful at 770-551-7766 or info@knfb.org.
