The Henry County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution last week to refinance the 2006 and 2008 Jail Installment Sale Agreements between the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia and Henry county. The decision will save the county more than $611,000. This jail refinancing comes on the heels of the board’s decision in August to refinance the Nash Farm debt. That move saves the county more than $226,000.
