Fulton County has opened two vehicle tag vending machines at local grocery stores.

The vending machines are the first in Fulton County. They debuted Thursday.

The machines are an alternative way for residents to get tags for their vehicles. There are about 1 million vehicles registered in the county.

The vending machines are located at two of the busiest Kroger stores in the county — at 227 Sandy Springs Place in Sandy Springs and at 2685 Metropolitan Parkway Southwest in Atlanta.
