Fulton County is rescheduling Friday visitations at the jail because of expected snow.

Any visitations after 4 p.m. Friday will be rescheduled. There are no visitations on Saturday.

Unless there are widespread power outages, the county does not plan to open senior centers or other facilities as warming stations.

“We get the sense that its safer for folks just to stay at home,” Fulton spokesperson Jessica Corbitt said. “This is more of a snow event than an ice event.”
