Fulton County will host a Women’s Health Celebration and Expo on Saturday.

The event will begin with a Pink Power Walk at 9 a.m. led by Fulton County Commissioner Joan Garner, a breast cancer survivor. Participants are encouraged to wear tutus and other costumes to the noncompetitive walk.

Garner will also lead “Dynamic Diva” yoga at 10 a.m. to emphasize the role of stress management in women’s health.

The event will also include a healthy food demonstration and a chance for other breast cancer survivors to reflect and share their stories.

“We must take time for ourselves and our bodies to allow us to serve others,” Garner said in a statement.

In addition to Garner, the event is sponsored by Sisters by Choice, Inc. and the Fulton County Department of Health & Wellness.

The Women’s Health Celebration and Expo will take place at Adamsville Regional Health Center at 3700 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Southwest in Atlanta.
