Fulton County is conducting workshops for South Fulton residents prior to updating its comprehensive plan.

The plan is intended for residents to give input about new housing, recreation, open space, transportation, economic development, and more in the unincorporated area.

One workshop will take place Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Fulton County Aviation Community Cultural Center at 3900 Aviation Circle, NW in Atlanta.

Another will be held Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Burdett Park at 2945 Burdett Road in College Park.

The plan will set the groundwork for future development, said Shayla Reed, a county planner, in a statement.

“It is our hope that all residents of Unincorporated South Fulton to attend one of these important workshops,” she said.
