Think an old arrest is getting in the way of a new job? Fulton County wants to help you clear it away.

The county is hosting an expungement summit Thursday to let people clear their arrest records.

Those who have been arrested for misdemeanors or felonies, but not convicted, by Fulton police or sheriff’s deputies or Atlanta police, are eligible for the event. It will be held at 6 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Sr. Community Resources Complex at 101 Jackson Street NE in Atlanta.

Participants should bring valid photo ID and their arrest records, if they have them.
