Emma Darnell, Bill Edwards again face off for Fulton commission seat

Two former allies on the Fulton County commission will again face off this year.

Redistricting meant South Fulton Democrats Emma Darnell and Bill Edwards faced off against each other in the last election cycle. Darnell, first elected in 1992, won narrowly over Edwards, who first took office in 2000.

There is no Republican in this year’s race, so the winner of the Democratic primary will be the next commissioner.
