Qualifying for the Nov 3. municipal election in Roswell is set for next week.

Candidates can file paperwork from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill St. Voters in November will elect three city council members in Posts 1 through 3 and a municipal judge.

Those interested in running must be at least 21, a qualified voter and must have lived in the city for at least one year prior to the election in which she or she is a candidate.

Qualifying fees are $540 for the city council positions and $2.401 for municipal judge, payable at the time a candidate files written notice with the city clerk.
