DeKalb News: Transit master plan ready for initial review

DeKalb County residents are invited to attend one of three open houses that will provide updates on the Transit Master Plan process and allow people to give feedback on ideas that have been generated thus far.

During the meetings, which will be held Feb. 26 through 28, residents will be asked to weigh in on preliminary plans that have been generated after an initial round of public meetings, advisory committee meetings and a survey.

The DeKalb County government is in the process of completing a 30-year Transit Master Plan in partnership with the Atlanta Regional Commission and MARTA. The goal is to have a report completed by July.

Residents are asked to attend whichever meeting is most convenient, since all three will have identical agendas. They are:
