DeKalb County has created a confidential hotline that government employees can use to report unethical behavior.

The county sent a memo to employees Thursday that encourages them to report theft, fraud, dishonesty, financial irregularities and illegal behavior.

The hotline will be managed by a third-party provider to help ensure anonymity. All reports will be shared with the county’s auditor for review and investigation.
