Cobb goat farm to county: You’ve got to be kid-ding

How much does a 50-acre goat farm in Acworth cost? More than Cobb County is willing to pay, apparently.

Charline Cambron, owner of Rosewood Farm, said her land is no longer on the list of properties the county is looking to buy for new parks.

County officials say they cannot pay more than the appraised value for land, but Cambron called their offer “not realistic at all.”

Rosewood Farm is one of four properties that have been dropped from consideration for new park land in Cobb.
