Clayton public schools’ State of the District address set for Thursday

Clayton County Public Schools Superintendent Luvenia Jackson will give her 2015-16 State of the District address Thursday at Charles Drew High School in Riverdale.

The 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. presentation will provide an update of school district activities and achievements and information about academic success for students. The program also will include presentations and student performances. The theme of the address is “Embrace the Past, Profile the Present, and Prepare for the Future.” The event is open to the public. Drew High School is located at 6237 Garden Walk Blvd. in Riverdale.
