A forum on housing challenges and solutions for Clayton County will be held June 29 at Clayton State University.

The 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. “Straight Talk on Housing” program will feature organizations that provide housing services to the county. The event is sponsored by State Rep. Valencia Stovall, D-Forest Park.

“Housing challenges in Clayton County can no longer be a secondary conversation,” Rep. Stovall said. “We are number one in the country for underwater houses and number one in Metro Atlanta for single family rentals. We are facing a crisis, and the economic stability, local education and future of our communities are depending on our actions right now.” The forum will be at Clayton State’s East Campus, 5823 Trammell Road in Morrow.

For details about the program, call 678-632-2825 or email Rep. Stovall at Valencia.stovall@house.ga.gov.
