Clayton,Fayette schools cancel weekend activities due to possible snow

School officials in Clayton and Fayette counties have cancelled weekend extracurricular activities.

Fayette’s snow plan starts 5 p.m. Friday and goes through the weekend.

Clayton is cancelling all after-school activities for Friday as well as all scheduled weekend activities.

The cancellation includes Campus Kids after-school care programs, extra-curricular and athletic activities, and any scheduled events at the Clayton district’s Performing Arts Center. Parents of high school students are asked to pick up their children 10 to 15 minutes earlier at afternoon bus stops and shuttle locations due to the inclement weather.
