Tech-Long USA, a supplier of high-technology packaging systems and turn-key solutions to the bottling and packaging industries is expanding U.S. operations in Duluth. The company plans to hire 130 employees over 10 years. The $5 million expansion includes manufacturing components and replacement parts for its machinery and possibly manufacturing consumable beverage products.

Tech-Long’s 25,000 square foot facility at 3400 Rivergreen Ct., Suite 400 will be the company’s Center of Parts & Service Excellence for the Americas and will also house manufacturing operations as the company expands its position into the liquid packaging markets in Canada, the United States, Caribbean, Mexico and South America.

The U.S. expansion announcement was made during a visit to Tech-Long’s global headquarters in Guangzhou, China by a Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development-led delegation.
