Atlanta Police active shooter incident training

Officers C. Arthur and A. Hayes reload as they participate in the training. The training was scheduled prior to the terrorist attacks in Paris and is for department personnel who are equipped with enhanced weaponry.

Senior Patrol Officer A. Moline reloads his clip. The training included modules related to engaging multiple targets and increasing the officers speed in target acquisition, threat elimination and reloading.

The training is conducted regularly to ensure that Atlanta patrol officers and members of specialized response units are prepared to respond to any occurrence where citizens of the city are targeted in an active shooting event.
