A UGA graduate tries to get the attention of someone in the crowd. "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest delivered the Commencement address and received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree. Seacrest, who grew up in Dunwoody, attended UGA briefly before pursuing a broadcasting career. More than 5,500 graduates were eligible to participate in the ceremony.
