One man was killed and four people injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday night in northwest Atlanta, according to police.
Investigators believe a flatbed tow truck and a sedan collided in the intersection of Marietta Street and Northside Drive, Sgt. Greg Lyon with Atlanta police said.
A front passenger in the sedan died at the scene, Lyon said. The driver of the sedan and three juveniles in the backseat were transported by ambulance to the hospital, Lyon said. Their conditions were not immediately known.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office identified the deceased passenger as Roland Lee, 68, of Chattanooga, Tenn.
The tow truck driver was not injured.
The wreck remains under investigation and charges could be pending, Lyon said.
