An elderly Kennesaw couple killed Friday in a Las Vegas hit-and-run has been identified by the Clark County, Nev. medical examiner, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Terry Lance Westbrook, 71, and Charlotte Westbrook, 74, of Kennesaw, were trying to cross the street near the Rio Hotel-Casino, not in a crosswalk, when they were hit by a dark-colored Nissan around 10 p.m. Friday, according to the Associated Press. Police said the driver fled the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
