The son of NBA Hall of Famer Kareem Adbul-Jabbar has reportedly been accused of stabbing his neighbor earlier this week.
Adam Abdul-Jabbar was reportedly arrested Wednesday and accused of stabbing his neighbor several times, according to Orange County Jail booking information obtained by the Daily Mail. He was charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon, but the 28-year-old has been released. TMZ first reported the arrest.
The incident allegedly occurred about 10 p.m. Tuesday in San Clemente, California.
The neighbor was hospitalized but was able to drive himself to a nearby hospital. He was treated for “non-life-threatening injuries.”

Adam has appeared with his father on the shows “Family Feud” and “Full House.” The elder Abdul-Jabbar is a 19-time NBA All-Star and 15-time All-NBA selection. He is most known for his time playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.
