Jay Z reportedly is poised to make a big move, and some big news.

The master music-and-everything-else entrepreneur is expected to announce Monday a revamped Tidal, the high def streaming service he bought for $50 million plus, various media outlets are reporting.

Rumored word is he may be rolling out a tidal wave of talents like Kanye West, Daft Punk, Madonna and, no doubt Beyonce, who would grant Tidal exclusive content, stiff-arming much larger competitors like Spotify in the process.

The question, critics say, is whether consumers will pay $20 a month to listen, double what other services charge, and with no free access streaming. That’s a lure that’s supposedly worked for Spotify.
