Lilburn police continue to investigate the death of a Gwinnett County woman whose body was found Thursday.
Police said details of the investigation into the death of Angela Rabotte, 26, are not being released, but Capt. Thom Bardugon did confirm the woman had been shot.
Police said Rabotte's body was found about 10:30 a.m. Thursday in a wooded area near the intersection of Lilburn Industrial Way and Arcado Road by surveyors working in the area.
Rabotte was last seen alive in the parking lot of the Steeplechase Apartments in unincorporated Norcross about 6 a.m. March 28 after attending a party in Atlanta the night before. Gwinnett police said she dropped off her 3-year-old daughter with a friend before heading to the party.
