An inmate who escaped from custody while being transported through Bartow County last week has been captured in Indiana, authorities said.

Cartersville police Maj. Mark Camp said Sean Patrick Killion, 42, was being transported by a private company from Florida to Indiana on a federal drug charge when he escaped during a Cartersville meal stop about 7 p.m. Feb. 4.

Camp said in an email Wednesday that Killion has been arrested again near Ellettsville, Ind., by the U.S. Marshals Task Force, Indiana State Police, the Indiana Department of Corrections and a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force.

Killion is being taken to an undisclosed federal holding facility, Camp said.
