A small plane crash in Coweta County Saturday afternoon left two men in serious condition, according to Channel 2 Action News.
The TV station reported the pilot of the Ryan ST3KR aircraft tried to land the plane but ended up crashing for unknown reasons on Sewell Mill Road in Newnan about 4 pm.
The plane’s two occupants, — identified as Larry Lee and Lawrence Kelly – were both awake and talking when authorities arrived on the scene but had sustained serious injuries, according to Channel 2. They were airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center where they are both in serious condition, the hospital told Channel 2.
