Hundreds of thousands of people have been purged from a national database checked before gun sales or carry permits are issued because they don’t meet the new definition of “fugitive from justice.”
The FBI told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that more than half a million names have been removed from the list since since the Trump administration revision earlier this year.
