Gwinnett police are looking for two men in connection with a home invasion and sexual assault of a 79-year-old woman.

The incident occurred about 6:45 p.m. Nov. 6, Cpl. Jake Smith said Wednesday in a news release.

The victim told police two men forced their way into her home on Madison Chase Drive in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Smith said. The woman said she was forced into a back bedroom, restrained and sexually assaulted, he said.

After the incident the suspects searched her home and stole her purse, Smith said.

The woman described one of the suspects as a 5-foot-10, clean shaven man with black hair and brown eyes. He is between the ages of 20 and 25 years old.

Anyone with information about the suspects should call 770-513-5300. Tipsters may receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
