Gwinnett police are looking for bandits who robbed a person at gunpoint after firing at least one shot Friday near the Kroger at 6050 Singleton Rd. near Norcross.

“A shot was fired in the general direction of the victim, but no one was injured,” said Cpl. Michele Pihera.

Police are looking for two to three people in their early 20s, Pihera said. Police said they are searching for men and women. Abdul Yusef, 26, of Lilburn had his wallet, phone and cash stolen.

Police recovered a spent shell casing in the parking lot, Pihera said.

Police have arrested two people following a carjacking and shooting Wednesday outside a Kroger on Moreland Avenue in DeKalb County.
