Greenbriar Mall was open again around 5 p.m. after a suspicious package was reported earlier in the afternoon.

The package was found by the food court at the mall’s main entrance, with police receiving the call regarding it just after 3 p.m. APD spokesman Ralph Woolfolk told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution around 3:20 p.m. that the mall was being evacuated.

Officers had cleared the facility around 5 p.m., Woolfolk said.
