During the "One to Watch" segment on the "Katie" show Monday afternoon, Katie Goldberg showed TV show Katie Couric host her batting technique, as her mom, dad, Craig, and her brother watched from the audience.

During the show, Katie Goldberg was surprised with a videotaped message from Brian McCann. Katie Couric presented her guest with a jersey and gift basket from the Braves.

Katie Goldberg, 12, has been playing on boys baseball teams since she was 5 years old. But her interest in baseball started way before that while watching her older brother, Will, play at Chastain Park. Katie, who will be in seventh grade at the Marist School, has made the All-Star team for five years. This summer she hit 11 homeruns, including three in one game, for her team in five weeks of tournament play. She plays third base and pitches, too.
