A Macon teenager has surrendered to police in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old at a local Family Dollar.

Tyreon Tyrese Parks turned himself in about 4:30 p.m. Monday, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Department,

Parks surrendered to police not long after a vigil was held for Davaun Patton, the teen Parks is accused of murdering.

Parks was transported to the Bibb County Jail and is being held without bond.
