At least one person is dead and at least four others have been injured in multiple shootings Tuesday in the Beallwood area of Columbus, according to reports.

The shootings occurred at multiple sites, news outlet WTVM reported, citing the Columbus Police Department.

Multiple shootings happened at Holly Avenue and Veterans Parkway, according to reporter Colin Scroggins.

Five people were shot, WTVM reported, citing Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan. One person was in critical condition, WTVM reported.

The investigation is ongoing, and a search for the shooter is underway.
