A woman whose son was shot to death last month in a home invasion robbery has been charged after police allegedly found more than $1 million of drugs in her Columbus home, according to reports.

Autumn Lynn Tillery, 37, was arrested Monday on multiple charges of felony drug possession and intent to sell.

The next day, reports said, she appeared in front of Judge Julius Hunter, where she exclaimed, “I am going to die in jail. I am in here with murderers,” as she was led from the courtroom.

She is being held at the Muscogee County Jail, where she was ordered held without bond.

On Jan. 18, 21-year-old Cross Henderson was fatally shot in the back after trying to escape from several armed suspects who barged into his mother's home, police said.

Six people were arrested and charged in the killing less than a week later.

Police found the drugs at the home while investigating the shooting. They believe the contraband to be the motive in the fatal shooting, according to CBS affiliate WRBL in Columbus.

The perpetrators had demanded drugs and fled the scene with a large amount of marijuana, police said.

Investigators searched the house and found 8.8 grams of methamphetamine, 489 doses of LSD, several painkillers and multiple marijuana-based drugs including 5,621 grams of THC oil in Mason jars, 729 grams of THC wax, 67 marijuana edibles and 1,110 grams of marijuana, according to a report by The Associated Press.

The estimated street value of the drugs was $1,031,235, according to AP reports.

Those arrested in the fatal shooting were Ceuion English, 23; Anthony Foster, 23; Laqwane Kindred, 26; and Trevonuis Williams, 22. They were charged with murder Jan. 22 and brought to Muscogee County Jail. Two female juveniles also were arrested.
