An Augusta woman and her husband were arrested Sunday, accused of sexually violating the woman’s 8-year-old daughter.

Crystal Ann King, 33, was charged with child molestation,  and her husband Kenneth Shawn King, 35, was charged with computer or electronic pornography, according to jail records at Charles B. Webster Detention Center.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred Dec. 1, according to an affidavit obtained by Augusta Fox affiliate Fox 54 News Now. Richmond County Sheriff's Office deputies say King touched her daughter, placed shaving cream on the victim and recorded the incident. Officials say her husband then compiled several videos of his stepdaughter that showed the act in process. The video was found on King's phone and computer and was sent to another person, according to the affidavit.

The Kings are booked at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
