According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which has been called in to assist with the case, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call regarding someone driving erratically on Highway 212.

Deputies tried to pull the driver over during a traffic stop about 2:36 p.m., but the driver continued into the parking lot of Central Georgia Technical College.

That’s when deputies discovered Stuart Sinclair Wiggins, 58, of Royston suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
