A Fulton County police car hit a pedestrian Friday night just inside the College Park city line.
The officer was on duty at the time, College Park Deputy Chief Ferman Williford told Channel 2 Action News. Police are not sure if the unidentified pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time.
The pedestrian suffered head injuries and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, Williford said.
Fulton County police spokesman Scott McBride confirmed an officer was involved in the accident, but would not comment on the officer or any potential disciplinary action.
