A Fulton County Jail inmate has died after spending three days in the hospital for treatment of seizures.
According to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, the 41-year-old was booked into the jail Saturday after Atlanta police charged him with criminal damage to property in the first degree, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. On Monday, he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment of seizures.
Officials said he died at Grady on Wednesday shortly before 6 p.m. from medical complications related to the seizures, though the exact cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner’s office.
