Five people were found dead inside a home in Vanceboro, North Carolina, according to WAVY and WNCT-TV.

The Craven County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths, according to the TV stations.

The victims were found dead in the area of Kinsaw Court on Friday afternoon, according to Sheriff Chip Hughes.

Officials told the TV stations there is “no threat to the community,” and they will release more information Monday.
