There were no signs of foul play in the death of a University of Georgia student found Wednesday in an off-campus apartment, the Clarke County coroner said.
An autopsy will be conducted at the GBI crime lab on the 23-year-old student, whose name was not released, coroner Sonny Wilson said. Some of the student’s family members had not yet been notified Wednesday night, Wilson said.
Around noon, the student’s roommate found him unresponsive in their East Broad Street apartment at the Farmers Exchange Lofts, Wilson said. There were no signs of trauma or foul play, the coroner said.
No further details were available late Wednesday.
