The man accused of peeping into the women's dressing room at a Forsyth County department store has been caught, according to Forsyth sheriff's officials.

Detectives earlier this week released a photo of the man to area media outlets and tips from the public led them to Randy William Wilson of Cleveland, Ga., Forsyth County Sheriff's Office spokesman Dep. Doug Rainwater said.

The 38-year-old Wilson ran when sheriff's detectives arrived at his home Thursday, but was caught after a short chase, Rainwater said.

He was arrested and charged with two counts of felony peeping Tom, as well as a parole violation.

Wilson's arrest came just days after Forsyth County deputies were called to the Belk department store in Cumming. A woman at the store reported that a man peered under the women's dressing room door, Rainwater said.

Tipsters responding to photos of the suspect circulated by Forsyth County sheriff's deputies also reported spotting the individual in the pictures at a store at the North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville, he said.

Authorities said Wilson has been charged with peeping Tom in the past. He is being held without bond at the White County Detention Center.
