Fleeing motorcyclist survives crash with Cobb cop
Luck was on the side of a motorcyclist fleeing police Friday night in Cobb County.
Police told Channel 2 Action News that the officer chased the motorcyclist after he ran a stop sign and drove erratically.
By the time the chase that started at Mars Hill and Hill roads in Acworth had ended, the motorcyclist was down and the pursuing officer had run over him, Channel 2 said.
The unidentified biker was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
