Police on Friday were searching for a man who robbed a First National Bank of Griffin branch and got away with an undetermined amount cash.

The robbery occurred around 12:35 p.m. when a black man wearing a ski mask entered the bank’s Southside Branch on Zebulon Road and demanded money, according to Channel 2 Action News. The suspect did not show a weapon, authorities said.

After he was given the money, he fled on foot and police believe he walked to a nearby blue Chrysler PT Cruiser and left the scene.

No injuries were reported.
