DeKalb County firefighters were working on putting out a major fire Sunday evening that erupted at a North Druid Hills apartment complex in the afternoon.

No one was injured in the blaze, which was reported just before 5 p.m. at 1024 Oak Park Circle in The Marquis of North Druid Hills complex off Briarcliff Road, according to the DeKalb County Fire Department.

By 6:30 pm, firefighters were working on putting out “spot fires,” according to a fire department official.

No information on the cause of the fire or the extent of damage was immediately available.
