An East Point teenager faces murder charges in a Fourth of July shooting that left three people dead at a mobile home park in southeast Georgia, officials said Wednesday.
Rolando Millan, 16, is charged with three counts of felony murder in the deaths of Brittany Sneed Mack, her brother Travis Sneed and his girlfriend, Kristina Soles.
Bulloch County deputies discovered the victims about 7 p.m. while responding to a shooting at Lundy’s Trailer Park near Statesboro, according to the GBI. They arrived to find Mack, 35, on the back porch of the mobile home with multiple gunshot wounds. She died on the way to the hospital.
Inside the home, deputies discovered the bodies of Sneed and Soles, both 37. Sneed and Mack lived together in the mobile home, Savannah-based WTOC-TV reported. The GBI was asked to assist with the investigation.
In August, Bulloch County deputies renewed calls for information in the case.
“Just think about if this was part of your family,” sheriff’s Capt. Todd Hutchens told the news station. “You would want any and everybody to come forward with information they might have. And that’s all we’re asking.”
It’s unclear exactly what led to the triple shooting or how investigators identified Millan, who is in custody at the Augusta Youth Detention Center on unrelated charges. He remained at the juvenile detention facility Wednesday afternoon.
