The DeKalb County Police Department on Wednesday asked for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run.

About 8:40 a.m. Monday, the body of Saquena Williams was found along a Spaghetti Junction ramp by employees arriving to work at an office park adjacent to the interstate, DeKalb police Capt. Steven Fore said at the time. Williams, 29, of Doraville, was walking close to the Northcrest Road exit ramp on I-85 Monday when she was struck and killed, he said.

Williams, Fore said Wednesday, was hit by a 2000-2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sports package vehicle. The Mercedes should have damage to the right front bumper, hood and windshield, he said.

Anyone with information in this case should contact the DeKalb County Traffic Specialist Unit at 770-724-7610.
