DeKalb County police were investigating a fatal shooting at a hotel on Wednesday night.

Officers were called to the scene at the Stone Mountain Inn on Mountain Industrial Boulevard around 8 p.m., Channel 2 Action News reported.

Investigators told Channel 2 that one person was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

No other information was immediately available.
