Officers were called to a home in the 300 block of Windemere Way around 2 p.m. and found Morris in the front yard unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound, the department said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses pointed officers to the direction that Moses fled, and he was apprehended without incident a short time later, police said.

Police said the suspect and victim knew each other, but a motive is unclear at this time.
