An Atlanta man and woman allegedly tied to a fatal shooting last month in the Castleberry Hill neighborhood have been arrested.

Earl Robert Wade, 41, and Meyoshia Larrysha Gentry, 32, were both arrested in southwest Atlanta on May 4 on murder charges. Wade also faces one count of aggravated assault, according to online Fulton County Jail records.

Both suspects remained in custody with no bond Thursday.

Their charges stem from a shooting outside the Atlanta immigration federal courthouse at 180 Ted Turner Drive early the morning of April 10. Police later identified the victim as 32-year-old Alexander Tigner.

According to police, officers responded to Grady Memorial Hospital around 1 a.m. after Tigner was dropped off there with gunshot wounds. He later died of his injuries.

Investigators identified Wade and Gentry as suspects in the shooting May 3. It was unclear what evidence police believe tied them to the crime or what led to the shooting.

A fugitive task force tracked the man and woman to a residence one day later and arrested them.

Police said a 1-year-old boy was found lying on a bed next to two guns during the arrest. Officers seized the weapons and turned the baby over to the custody of his grandparents.

Tigner was laid to rest at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Palmetto after a celebration of life service April 30, according to his obituary.
