Woman shot, killed while sleeping at DeKalb apartment
DeKalb County investigators are still trying to determine if a 37-year-old woman was the intended target of the gunfire.
A woman was shot and killed Saturday as she slept inside a DeKalb County apartment.
The gunfire that killed Tijuana Frazier, 37, came from somewhere outside the unit in the Eastwyck Village complex off Candler Road, according to DeKalb police. She was asleep at the time.
Investigators are still seeking leads, police spokesman Sgt. J.D. Spencer told AJC.com on Friday. They are still trying to determine if Frazier was the intended target.
“There are no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing,” he said.
